NICHOLS Frances Marie “Cissy” Nichols went peacefully to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 2, 2006 due to a short battle with Lung Cancer. Cissy was born on June 25, 1948 to Francis A. and the late Mildred G. Phipps. She graduated from Annapolis Senior High and resided in Maryland for 58 years. Cissy recently moved to Florida with her family in April of 2006. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Donald G. Nichols, Sr. of 37 years; her son, Donald G. Nichols, Jr. and her daughter, Dawn M. Shepherd and her six loving grandchildren. Cissy is also survived by her four sisters, Mildred A. Jones, Sandra L. Brown, Rita D. Adame, Tracy L. Roberts, the late Nancy E. Phipps, and one brother, Dale A. Phipps, Sr. She was a talented cake designer and she loved spending time with her family and friends. Cissy also enjoyed doing crafts with her grandchildren.
