Jim was a very close friend. We 1st met when he asked to show me around Eastport Elem in our 6th grade, because we'd become neighbors. I am so sad to say that he died in New Orleans because I introduced him to the city. He tried so hard to make a recoverypost-Katrina yet many, many lives were decimated by that storm and flood, his life included. He died in April 2009.
