MRS. CAROL MITCHELL ABSHER

Mrs. Carol Ann Mitchell Absher, age 57, wife of James Absher, of Elkin Hwy, Ronda died Friday, March 18, 2005 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, at 2:00 at Cranberry Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Shepherd officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Absher was born in Welch, WV, November 1, 1947, to William Elmo and Mary Cleo Wilson Mitchell. She was a charter member of the Moose Lodge #1781. Mrs. Absher was a loving wife and mother. She will be missed but never forgotten. She will be missed by all her friends and family.

A brother, William Ray Mitchell precedes Mrs. Absher in death.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Absher is survived by three daughters, Barbara A. Pinnix and her husband, David of Fleetwood, Mary Cleo Wilson A. McKeithan and her husband, William L. of Asheboro, Rebecca A. Royal and her husband, Jessie of Wilkesboro; two sisters, B. Jean Henniberger of Annapolis, MD and Vera L. Mitchell of Biloxi, MS; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 6 nieces and nephews; 7 great nieces and nephews.   MRS. CAROL MITCHELL ABSHER
