He was a volunteer and supporter of the Sheriff Department and Port St.

Lucie Police Department.

He loved life, his family and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Joanne Finnegan of Port St.

Lucie, FL; daughter, Joan A. Griggs of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Michael

E. Finnegan and Shad M.P. Finnegan both of Port St. Lucie, FL;

brothers, Arthur Smith of Naples, FL and Patrick James Finnegan of Port

St. Lucie, FL; sister, MaryAnne Finnegan of Roanoke, VA; and one

granddaughter.
