Barbara "Bobbie" Lee Wist (Jessup), 64, a 3-year resident of Glen Burnie, died September 24 at Anne Arundel Medical Center due to kidney failure after a 4-year illness.
Bobbie was born October 12, 1947 in New Port News, VA to the late Mildred Junita and Charles Richard Jessup. Bobbie was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Annapolis, although she was unable to attend church services for a lengthy period of time due to her illness.
Bobbie's hobbies included crocheting, sewing, arts and crafts and drawing. She enjoyed playing the organ and clarinet and rescuing stray animals.
In addition to her parent, Bobbie was preceded in death by her former spouse, James William Wist, Jr., to whom she was married to from August 1968 to January 1993 and who died July 1996; and her sister, Bille Raymond.
She is survived by her son Jamie Wist of Annapolis; two daughters, Tobi Rodevick of Crownsville and Jessie Wist of Severn; two sisters, Charlene Huebl of Annapolis and Jackie Hahn of Dagsboro, DE; and four grandchildren.
