Arlene, Nancy Gordon and I were known to our parents as the triumverate for the outrageous things we did. We called Arlene, Cat, because once Nancy and I sneaked over to Arlene's house (as I remember it...Nancy will know better) during the night, and her mother yelled that there was a cat buglar at the door. She never lived it down. There are many other stories, such as how we escaped the police at a party at Annapolis Roads by driving on the golf course with our lights off and how she taught Nancy and I to smoke during our college years, but they are too many stories to tell.
