Serendipity brought me from Wisconsin to Oregon in 2009, after my job was eliminated. I took that as an opportunity to retire, and I now enjoy the "good life" on the magnificent central Oregon Coast, passing my time in a couple of citizen science gigs on the beach, volunteering at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and local thrift store, making art and crafts, and photography.
